2016 Newsletter
Blessed to Give Ministries has helped save lives in 2016! We thank God for every one of you that has partnered with us! We are happy to share life with you and partner with you in the field.
We first met Dylan on a YWAM base in Belize. We were there with Westwood Ministries! He was suffering with a very serious and sometimes painful jaw infection that required a major and complex surgery. You may recognize him if you met him when he came to visit us or from our Blessed to Give Facebook page! After many months of waiting to come to the US to get help, a ministry,
The Word at Work, offered to help Dylan. Blessed to Give Ministries was able to partner with The Word at Work thru prayer support and financial assistance. Dylan had his surgery in Lubbock, and is doing well. He still needs another surgery, please continue to pray!
This is Roy with his doctors in Honduras. He is Alive! Roy was in a wreck and while at the hospital gangrene set in. He had to have both legs amputated. Friends from Honduras notified us of Roy’s serious situation. We prayed as they continued to battle the infection. We sent financial support to help pay hospital bills and home care. Later, we were gifted an electric wheel chair by Lorie’s Aunt Reyna and we had it sent to Roy! Now, Roy is mobile and shares the Gospel where ever he goes! Watch the video on our website!
Hallelujah! We heard of a 62 year old Honduran woman who had a very serious diabetic foot infection that was about to lose her foot. Blessed to Give Ministries provided prayer support and money to cover her medical expenses. Our friends in Honduras were able to get her to the hospital and convinced the doctors to not amputate. Through prayer and God’s grace the infection is gone and she still has both feet! Amen! Jesus heals!
Great Joy! With the help of our partners we were able to provide backpacks loaded with school supplies, as well as a yummy Christmas meal to 52 children in Belize. Pure Christmas Cheer!
We did lots of fun things in 2016! Lorie got to assist Jeff in a surgery while in Belize. Of course, she almost passed out but finished strong. The surgery was a success! We got to visit a lovely old folks home in Belize. We helped pastors and missionaries, a small clinic, and sent out tons of Bibles and tracts all over Belize! Yeah. What a year. Praise God!
May God’s name be lifted high, and may men be drawn to Him!
